• 25 g Arrowroot powder
• 15 g Kaolin clay
• 10 g Rice starch
• 5 g Cocoa powder (optional, for medium to dark hair tones, optional)
• 5 g Cornstarch (substitute with more arrowroot for a corn-free version)
• 2 g Bamboo powder (adds smoothness & oil absorption)
• 0.5 g Lavender essential oil (about 12 drops)
• 0.5 g Sweet orange essential oil (about 12 drops)

• Digital scale
• Mixing bowl
• Whisk or spoon
• Fine mesh sieve
• Funnel
• Powder shaker jar or dry shampoo brush applicator

1. Sanitize all tools, containers, and workspace before starting.
2. Weigh all powders into a mixing bowl.
3. Use a whisk or spoon to gently combine, breaking up any clumps.
4. Pass the mixture through a fine mesh sieve for an a fine, silky finish.
5. Add essential oils drop by drop, whisking thoroughly to evenly distribute.
6. Sieve once more if needed to prevent clumping.
7. Using a funnel, transfer the finished powder into a shaker jar or dry shampoo brush applicator.
8. Label your finished blend with the name and date of creation.

Sprinkle or brush a small amount of dry shampoo onto your roots and gently massage it in with your fingertips or a soft brush to absorb oil and add lift. Focus on areas that tend to get oily more quickly, such as the crown and hairline. Allow a minute before brushing through to evenly distribute the powder and add volume. Use sparingly on dark hair to prevent visible residue, and follow with your favorite styling ritual for a polished finish.

Store in a cool, dry place away from humidity and direct sunlight. Keep lid tightly closed between uses to maintain freshness and prevent clumping.
