To access certain features, you’ll need a membership account.

• Eligibility: You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account.
• Account Security: You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. Root & Ritual Apothecary is not liable for unauthorized use of your account.
• Subscriptions: Paid memberships renew automatically based on your billing cycle (monthly or annually).
• Cancellations: You may cancel anytime in your account settings. Access continues through the end of your billing period.

Because Root & Ritual Apothecary provides digital and membership-based services:

• Free Trials: If your plan includes one, billing begins automatically at the end of the trial unless cancelled beforehand.
• Recurring Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on the schedule you selected.
• Refunds: We do not provide partial or prorated refunds for unused time. To avoid charges, please cancel before your next billing date.

Root & Ritual Apothecary is built on respect and curiosity. By being here, you agree to:

• Use content for your own personal, non-commercial projects.
• Respect the intellectual property and creativity shared on this Site.
• Avoid activities that are unlawful, harmful, or disruptive to the community or platform.

When using Root & Ritual Apothecary, you also agree not to misuse our AI-powered features. This includes:

All content on the Site — including text, images, designs, and formulations — is the property of Root & Ritual Apothecary and protected by copyright and trademark law.

• You’re granted a limited, personal license to use Site content for your own learning and personal projects.
• Copying, redistributing, or creating derivative works without written permission is not allowed.

Personalized Blends

• You retain personal rights to use and enjoy the blends you create with our customization tools.
• The underlying base formulations, customization system, and intellectual property remain the sole property of Root & Ritual Apothecary.
• Custom blends created through Root & Ritual Apothecary may not be resold, marketed, or commercialized without our written consent.

Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name, email, and membership plan details.
• Payment Information: Collected and processed securely by Stripe. Root & Ritual Apothecary does not store full card details.
• Customization & Chat Data: Information you provide through forms, personalization tools, chat interactions, and your custom blends.
• Health or Sensitive Information: Root & Ritual Apothecary is not a healthcare platform and does not intentionally collect or process medical, health-related, or other sensitive personal information. Please do not include details about your health conditions, medications, or diagnoses in customization fields, chat interactions, or other submissions. Our services and tools are designed for cosmetic and educational purposes only and are not HIPAA-compliant.
• Usage Data: Cookies, analytics, and device information to improve Site performance.
• Children’s Privacy: Root & Ritual Apothecary does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and save your custom blends and Apothecary records.
• To provide membership access and personalization features.
• To improve the Site and develop new features.
• To communicate with you about account updates, new resources, or offers (you can opt out of promotional emails).

How Long We Keep It

• Customization data, blends, and chat history are stored while your account is active.
• If you cancel or request deletion, we remove this data from active systems.
• Some information may remain briefly in secure backups before permanent deletion.

How We Share It

• We do not sell your personal information.
• Limited data may be shared with trusted providers (Memberstack, Webflow, Stripe, Google Analytics) solely to operate and improve the Site.
• We are not responsible for the practices of third-party sites or services linked from Root & Ritual Apothecary. Please review their policies when using them.

Your Rights

• Update or delete your account at any time.
• Unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.
