Root & Ritual grew out of a very personal shift. After a breast cancer diagnosis, I began paying closer attention to what I was putting in and on my body. I became aware of just how many everyday products include unnecessary additives, hidden chemicals and ingredients that don’t nurture our health the way they should. When I started buying clean products, I discovered that the cost often made them feel out of reach.
So, I started making my own. What began as a way to care for myself turned into something I genuinely enjoyed—experimenting, blending, and even using AI to customize formulas. Along the way, I discovered that natural care doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive.
Root & Ritual is my way of sharing that journey with you, so you can create rituals that feel nourishing, accessible, and maybe even a little magical.

Root & Ritual Apothecary is a membership-based resource for natural skincare formulation. We provide base formulations, seasonal blends, ingredient knowledge, and guided tools that help you create skincare products tailored to your needs and preferences.

Explore The CollectionYes. Depending on your membership, you'll have access to our core personalization tool, apothecary concierge and/or the blending table to assist in you personalizing a base formulation, troubleshooting or creating a personalized blend from scratch.
All formulations use commonly available natural ingredients. We provide educational context and safety notes, but we do not replace professional or medical advice.
